After a long restoration in Denmark "Yukon" a 22 metre 1930 sailing trawler arrives at Franklin Marina after voyaging around the world.

The family is settling in to Franklin for a while,enjoying the wooden boat life.

I'm a boat builder, a sailor, a marine welder, a designer, an engineer, an inventor, a teacher, a salesman, a chandler, an artisan, a business man, a team leader, a scribe, a safety nut, a fisherman, a sea cook, a tool freak, a barista, a gadget man, a plumber, an electrician, a navigator and a skipper. I'm also a righteous bastard who wants it seaworthy!

Now I'm a local in Franklin, Tasmania, Australia - on the beautiful Huon river. You can sail or motor up the river and moor at the Marina - we'll take good care of you and your boat in this picturesque environment.
